Just starting my blog as I realize our adventure “into the west” is only three months away. Tried to choose a name but all my first choices are already taken. Will work on that for future blogs. Thanks to my sister Diane for her advice on Blogging. Thanks to Lucas and Montana for undertaking their world-wide adventure which left their home up for grabs. Thanks to my sweetie Erica for taking over the home front. And thanks to my life long love, Voldemort (he who shall not be named), for agreeing to this adventure. I admit to cowardice. I have not yet told my mother we are leaving for the year. Perhaps this next month of May I will break the news to her gently. However, at 86 years of age, she chose this time to quit smoking after more than 66 years of nicotine addiction. Kudos for her courage! Shame on me for my reluctance to share my travel news.
